Research Interests: The processes and representations used to retrieve information quickly and accurately from the lexicon during speech production and speech perception. The influence of phonological "neighbors," or similar sounding words, and sub-lexical information, such as phonotactic probability, on the production and comprehension of speech. Current research: how phonotactic probability influences the retrieval of words during speech production.
